Lent Series - Easter Sunday - The Resurrection

Today's we celebrate...

The Resurrection

Today is Easter Sunday...
This is entry number 47 and the final entry in this series.

Today we look at Easter...

In the silence all that I Am rises and it is Good, it is Love, it is Joy. The silence shows me the Light of the Divine Presence expressing as me and I am lifted on Its wings of love to rise higher in every moment of this new day. As I stand in reverential awe of the majesty of the Divine creation that I Am experiencing, I drop to my knees in thanksgiving for the splendor of It all and all that I Am.

I allow the essence of good which I AM to move, to move me, to move in me, to move through me. Aware of ITS movement and aware that I Am, I breath and listen. In the silence I Am lifted higher, to the garden in the wilderness that calls me to come even higher, to rise even higher, to soar even higher, above mountains, a vantage point free of limitations open to unending good, a scenic lookout that feels ceaseless unconditional love, beauty beyond belief, joy exceeding egos comprehension and peace and tranquility that can only be felt, not described, in the dwelling place where I AM. This is the secret and sacred place of the Most High. I Am that, I Am there. Today I rise!

Affirm: From the inside out the Divine Presence of Spirit greets me as I awake to a new day, I rise into my full awareness of this eternal moment of now. There are no choices I can make yesterday. In this moment I cannot act tomorrow. The gift is now and I rejoice and make the most of it. In this moment all my needs are met and unconditional love bathes me in Its morning smile and Its balm of peace, harmony and serenity. I give thanks for all the blessings this moment holds and I am prospered perpetually as I maintain this ceaseless prayer of thanksgiving.

– Stephen J. Kosmyna

I affirm: "In unity with Christ I realize that I Am resurrected into the life, light, and power of God."  - Charles Fillmore

"Christ within me is the resurrection and the life. Christ within me is the power that enables me to rise triumphant out of every trial." - Charles Fillmore

The Scripture reading that Charles Fillmore suggests for today can be found right here: John 20:1-18

In his classic work Keep a True Lent, Charles Fillmore offers daily words of inspiration to reflect on as we move ourselves towards our own resurrection day and the glorious celebration of Easter Sunday and all the newness of Life that it holds for all of us.
