Lent Series - Day 9 - Love

Today's reflection is on...

Love

Today is Friday, the eighth day of Lent.
This is entry number 10 in this series.

Today we look at the spiritual power of LOVE

Love. The very essence of the Divine and what God is - therefore the very substance of what we are made of and the image in which we are created. Love truly what we Are as divine energy in the absolute.

In my podcast today I share this piece I wrote and I place it here in case you would like to use it as a prayer or meditation:

"Let me be clear about what it means to love deeply and unconditionally, let me be clear about what I need to release within myself to be the highest expression of Love that I must be. Let me be clear about the emotions that I must sort through to love at the level of the Divine I Am. Let me be clear as I sort through what is ego expressing as pain and what must rise from within me to the unconditional; which seeks not to receive but to give and stand in reverential awe of myself knowing I Am giving by letting go. And, I Am being all that Love calls me to be, do and have. I stand in the character and integrity that Love is, I stand in reverential awe of all that I AM and the greater good I am attracting. I stand in complete release knowing that as I do let go, Love continues to fill me and nothing can separate me from the Love That I Am." - Stephen J. Kosmyna

The Scripture reading that Charles Fillmore suggests for today is titled God is Love. It' beautiful and found right here in 1 John 4:7-21

In his classic work Keep a True Lent, Charles Fillmore offers daily words of inspiration to reflect on as we move ourselves towards our own resurrection day and the glorious celebration of Easter Sunday and all the newness of Life that it holds for all of us.

For those of you that would like to read along with the book you can find it here on line, just click here: Keep a True Lent

In quietness and confidence, I affirm: "God, in His love, fills me with new life. In His name I Am cleansed, strengthened, and healed." - Charles Fillmore
