Lent Series - Day 26 - Heaven

Today's reflection is on...

Heaven

Today is the 26th day of Lent.
This is entry number 30 in this series.

Today we look at Heaven...

Remember the words from Hotel California by the Eagles? This could be Heaven or this could be Hell? This really could be, you get to choose. What will you decide to see, what will you decide to be? Better yet, where will you choose to live? The kingdom of heaven within you, in your midst, that is at hand? Or will you move about as if everything and every step is pure hell?

I've lived in both places. Heaven is better. I like it here. Rise up, lift your thoughts higher, leave out the debris, take out the trash. Live in love and light and CHOOSE the kingdom of heaven as your new home here and now. No waiting and the Light is always on.

Find that center in you where Unconditional Love lives, spend some time there, you may not want to move. Let's all live there in that secret place. The doorway to that place is through hearts filled will love, thanksgiving and forgiveness. Come through that door and live in the kingdom of heaven here and now. The Light truly has been left on for you, y'all come and stay awhile!

Affirm: Today I choose to live, in every thought word and action, from the kingdom of good. I live in the realization that I Am powerful to create my own heaven and live there. I see and claim the prosperity that is ever present, the abundance within me and the ceaseless supply stored in my heavenly warehouse of right thought - right here in the midst of me.

- Stephen J. Kosmyna

I affirm: "Heaven within is one perfect harmonious life, substance, and intelligence, and I rejoice." - Charles Fillmore

The Scripture reading that Charles Fillmore suggests for today can be found right here: Matthew 13:24-53.

In his classic work Keep a True Lent, Charles Fillmore offers daily words of inspiration to reflect on as we move ourselves towards our own resurrection day and the glorious celebration of Easter Sunday and all the newness of Life that it holds for all of us.
