Lent Series - Day 40 - Resting in God

Today's reflection is on...

Resting in God

Today is Saturday, the 40th day in Lent.
This is entry number 46 in this series.

Today we look at Resting in God...

In the silence is the guidance, the peace, the inspiration and the love of God and the Love that God Is. Resting in complete and total awareness of the Divine Presence within, all is calm and fear is released.

In this place, choices and decisions are made with clarity from love not from fear, doubt and worry. In the silence I trust in the goodness of God to comfort the fragile, sacred human child inside and call forth the Divine I Am that once again says 'Today I Rise.'

Affirm: Today I consciously move to my inner rainbow, that secret place where if find my pot of good resting where the gift of Light and Love dance and sing in harmony with all that I Am. Here, with joy, I claim my pot of prosperity knowing that this inner supply of abundant good is limitless. I Am grateful beyond measure.

– Stephen J. Kosmyna

I affirm: " I rest in the consciousness of eternal life and strength, and I Am made perfect." - Charles Fillmore

"Father - God, I rest in the consciousness of Your presence within me and about me. I rest in the consciousness of Your life and perfection within me." - Charles Fillmore

The Scripture reading that Charles Fillmore suggests for today can be found right here: Isaiah 11:1-10; 12:1-6.

In his classic work Keep a True Lent, Charles Fillmore offers daily words of inspiration to reflect on as we move ourselves towards our own resurrection day and the glorious celebration of Easter Sunday and all the newness of Life that it holds for all of us.
